Here’s our favourite collections from the fifth and final day of London Fashion Week – and the key Autumn/Winter trends to look out for in the upcoming months.
Day five
The secrets to Simone Rocha’s wearable collection were simplicity, adaptability and the use of calming pastel colours.
Paul Costelloe’s show centred around beautiful yet practical coats – we want a different one for each day of the week.
This collection by Maria Grachvogel featured loose fitting outfits with various textures and deep, rich colours.
Chinese-born Haizhen Wang is known for his “masculine, tailored jackets”, and the edgy jackets in his A/W collection were inspired by gothic architecture.
Our overall favourite collection of the week:
Temperley London (as seen here)
Key trends to look out for in A/W ’13:
- Tartan print
- Monochrome
- Maroon
- Sequins

Yes, a different Paul Costelloe coat for every day of the week sounds like a plan!! I wish…..
